Description

Tiger Ceramic 4.5 inch conical flap discs are designed for maximum performance when grinding aluminum, stainless steel and other hard-to-grind metals. A top coat protects high-value parts stainless steel parts from heat discolorization and also prevents loading on soft alloys like aluminum. Ceramic grains utilize a crystalline structure that is designed with millions of fracture points that self-sharpen at a higher rate than other grains. The result is a high material removal rate, cool grinding, and reduced friction at less pressure which reduces operator fatigue. The type 29 conical disc shape maximizes surface contact when grinding between 15∞ ñ 35∞ for aggressive stock removal on flat surfaces while the 60 grit abrasive grain is ideal for edge beveling, chamfering, weld grinding, blending, deburring, deflashing, and rust removal with a right angle grinder.
